More About Michelle...
I am a wife, mother, and a speech therapist. I believe that having kids changes your whole perspective as a therapist. Asking families what they need me to achieve in therapy sessions is very important, even if we have to work on several things prior to reaching this goal. It is very important to use a collaborative approach because carryover of activities in the home is just as important as therapy. I love seeing first hand what speech can do to improve a child's self confidence and ability to communicate with others. I enjoy seeing and hearing the impacts of my therapy on everyday life, whether through stories or videos sent by parents. I enjoy sharing the knowledge I have learned from being a mom and using the training I have received to impact these families in a positive way.
