CIMT 2023Our CIMT Summer Camp is designed to make therapy fun for children, ages 2 and up, with hemiparesis. We incorporate fine motor skills, gross motor skills, sensory activities, crafts, and more to help make daily life activities easier and less stressful for our campers.

Occupational TherapyOT can help kids with various needs improve their cognitive, physical, sensory, and motor skills and enhance their self-esteem and sense of accomplishment.

Physical TherapyPhysical therapists use a variety of treatments to help build strength, improve movement, and strengthen skills needed to complete daily activities.
|
Speech TherapySLPs assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and oral/feeding/swallowing skills to identify types of communication problems and the best way to treat them.

Constraint Induced TherapyChildren with hemiparesis (weakness on one side) become more willing to use the affected side during therapeutic activities while their non-affected arm is in a cast.

Feeding TherapyTherapists work closely with clients and their families to determine the source of the child’s difficulties and develop very specific therapies to make the entire process of eating easier and more enjoyable.
