At Crossway Pediatric Therapy since May 2010, Linda provides intensive educational intervention services to students with or without diagnosed learning disabilities. Linda works with students of all ages to improve their reading, math, writing, comprehension and language-processing skills using multi-sensory processing based methods.
Linda provides remedial tutoring for children who can benefit from a more structured and nurturing environment to further their learning. Linda attends to your child's individual needs according to his/her learning style and potential. By working individually or in small groups, Linda applies a more flexible approach to encourage each child's confidence in their own ability. The frequency and duration of therapy for each child depends on individual needs; some children are able to return confidently to traditional schools following a short interval of specific therapy, whereas others need ongoing support. Linda's aim is to help children to thrive in a stable, tolerant, and understanding environment; to improve their self-confidence and to reduce the anxiety and frustration often associated with the feeling of inadequacy that many children feel when experiencing learning problems.
