Ambulation Transformation

This Physical Therapist run camp is geared toward our “transformers” with disorders such as cerebral palsy that display abnormal gait patterns. Children will participate in stretching, strengthening, and a variety of activities as well as video analysis of gait patterns pre- and post-camp. 

Mon-Thurs 10–11:30 with optional Parent Training on Fri. 10–11. $180 per camp session.
Minimum 3 campers per session.

Ages 2–5 • June 11–15 

Ages 6–10 • June 18–22

Fancy Feet

Children who “toewalk” will participate in this Physical Therapist run camp that focuses on stretching, strengthening, gait training, motor planning and games to improve flat feet and gait patterns.

Mon-Thurs 10–11:30 with optional Parent Training on Fri. 10–11. $180 per camp session.
Minimum 3 campers per session.

Ages 2–5 • June 25–29 

Ages 6–10 • July 9–13

 

Sensational Snackers

Picky eaters explore messy play and new foods while working on strengthening oral motor muscles through various activities and exercises run by an Occupational Therapist.

Mon-Thurs 10–11:30 with optional Parent Training on Fri. 10–11. $180 per camp session.
Minimum 3 campers per session.

Ages 6–10 • June 25–29 
 

Constraint Induced Movement Therapy (CIMT) Camp

Children with hemiparesis (weakness on one side) become more willing to use the affected side during therapeutic activities while their non-affected arm is in a cast. Camp run by Occupational and Physical Therapists. Please complete the CIMT Activity Log, Registration Form, Waiver Form and Parent Consent for Treatment.
July 16–August 2
 
Camp is Mon–Thurs 9–3, $2,400 for camp session.

 

Academic Camp

A Special Education Teacher will facilitate this program that is designed to strengthen academics, communication and social skills through camp activities during the summer.
