Brooke Crowson received her Masters Degree in Educational Psychology from Capella University in 2007. This complements 8 years of experience providing intensive educational intervention services in local clinics to students both with and without diagnosed learning disabilities. Brooke works with students of all ages to improve their reading, math, writing, comprehension and language processing skills using multi-sensory processing based methods. Her focus is on making students develop confidence and become aware of their strengths even when facing challenging work. She strives to develop understanding of other disciplines and work with a variety of professionals to maximize the learning process for her students. For the past 3 years, she has worked at Omni Montessori School as their Learning Specialist providing group services and educational assessments.
Brooke is originally from the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Charlotte has been her home for 15 years. She lives in Chantilly with her husband, baby daughter and 3 dogs and 4 cats. When not working, she is reading, cooking, traveling to see family and playing with the baby and the animals.
Brooke will be here on Tuesday and Thursdays starting Sept 10, 2009. Her hours will be 2pm til 6pm
