About Us

Crossway Pediatric Therapy offers home-based, community and clinic based speech, physical and occupational therapy.

Established in November 2004 by Shelley Portaro, M.S., OTR/L., Crossway Pediatric Therapy is a community with professional and highly experienced pediatric occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech language pathologists and learning specialists who provide the extra support and skilled intervention that your child needs to meet developmental milestones.

We have nearly 5000 square feet of space to run, jump, swing, play, climb, make friends and learn how to enjoy being a kid! We also see clients in the home and in the community. Our practice is focused on the complete lifespan of the child. We work with children ages birth and up and are advocates of early intervention.

Each client at Crossway receives the individualized attention and customized programs needed to bridge the gaps while on the journey to independence.

We are conveniently located in Greylyn Business Park at 9129 Monroe Rd. Suite 100-105 Charlotte, NC 28270 (next to Charlotte Swim Academy).
